If you liked my easy Air Fryer Frozen Pizza Puff, you are going to love this air-fried stromboli recipe just much! If you aren’t familiar with stromboli it’s basically all the best parts of pizza wrapped up in pizza dough. So it looks more like a hoagie but tastes just like a pizza with melted cheese, red sauce, and Italian meats inside. It’s absolutely delicious and cooks perfectly in the air fryer.
Not to mention, kids love stromboli! And it doesn’t need to be defrosted before you pop it in the air fryer. This means that you can keep some in your freezer to make at any time in just a matter of minutes. In fact, it’s so easy to make stromboli in the air fryer that most kids can do it themselves. Even better for you!
How to Make Frozen Stromboli In Air Fryer
This recipe is ridiculously easy! All you need is an air fryer and a package of frozen stromboli.
Now, put the basket into the air fryer. Then set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and the time to 16 minutes. After the time is up, if the stromboli is not quite done just put it back into the air fryer for a few more minutes to finish cooking.
When the stromboli is done, remove it from the air fryer basket and serve it immediately.
Cooking Tips
- You don’t need to defrost the stromboli. It’s meant to cook from frozen and will not cook properly if it has been defrosted.
- Any brand of frozen stromboli can be air fried. However, it may need more or less cooking time depending on the size.
- You can make more than one stromboli at a time in the air fryer, but they must all be placed in the basket in a single layer.
- Allow the cooked stromboli to cool off for a few minutes before serving, so that you don’t burn your mouth on the hot cheese.
