Air Fryer Frozen Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
Once you try this recipe you’ll love making frozen biscuits in the air fryer! And even better there is no need to thaw the biscuits out. Frozen biscuits cook perfectly in the air fryer. All you have to do is pop them into the air fryer to cook and then 15 minutes later you have warm tender ready to eat biscuits. It’s just that easy to cook frozen biscuits in the air fryer!
Another great thing about air fryer biscuits is that you never even have to turn your oven on! So not only do these biscuits cook up faster and make less mess in your kitchen, but cooking in the air fryer also saves you the extra step of needing to turn the oven on. It’s amazing and these fluffy air fried frozen biscuits are delicious!
How to Cook Frozen Biscuits in the Air Fryer
This air fryer recipe only requires one ingredient! You can’t beat that! All you need is a package of frozen biscuits. I like to use the Pillsbury Grands brand of frozen biscuits, but any brand will work.
To start, remove the frozen biscuits of your choice from the package and place 4 of them evenly spaced out in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This helps to ensure that the biscuits evenly cook.
Now, put the air fryer basket into the air fryer and cook the frozen biscuits at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. When cooking frozen biscuits in an air fryer both the time and temperature are important.
Once the biscuits are done cooking remove them from the air fryer and enjoy them warm spread with butter, honey, or a jam like my yummy homemade fig jam or my pineapple jam made in the instant pot!
Do You Need to Defrost the Biscuits?
No, you do not need to defrost the biscuits before cooking them in the air fryer. This recipe has been crafted to cook frozen biscuits. Thawed out biscuits require a different time and temperature. So no need to do the extra step of defrosting. This way of making biscuits in the air fryer is super easy.
How to Store and Reheat Air Fryer Frozen Biscuits
Frozen air fried biscuits will keep at room temperature for up to a week covered or in a container. You can also freeze the cooked biscuits in an airtight container or freezer bag for months.
To reheat, put room temperature biscuits in the microwave for about 30 seconds on medium power or in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 4 to 5 minutes. If you are reheating frozen already cooked air fryer biscuits you will want to reheat them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 to 20 minutes.
