Instant Pot Frozen Ravioli
Imagine biting into these mouthwatering ravioli, they are so yummy and tender!
Cook frozen ravioli in the Instant Pot, add a jar of pasta sauce and you’ve got dinner on the table!
This recipe works with any type of ravioli you like! I used cheese ravioli for this recipe as it is my favorite.
You can cook this right from frozen! No need to defrost first.
If you buy a large bag such as I did, it will be enough to feed your whole family! I picked up a 1 lb bag from Kroger.
If you want to cook a smaller amount, the recipe is still the same!
You can also use any type of jarred pasta sauce you prefer! I used Prego sauce for mine as it is my family’s favorite type!
It cooks so quickly so you can have dinner on the table in no time at all. Great for a busy parent or worker who needs a quick and hearty meal!
How to Prepare Instant Pot Frozen Ravioli
This ravioli couldn’t be easier to prepare in the Instant Pot!
You only need water, frozen ravioli and pasta sauce to make it.
First you will add 1 cup of water to your Instant Pot. Then add in the ravioli all together.
Close the Instant Pot lid and set it to the Sealing position. Set to Pressure Cook on high for 2 minutes.
Then when the Instant Pot is finished cooking, release the steam using the Quick Release method. Wait for the pin to drop before opening the lid.
Using oven mitts as the Instant Pot is hot, carefully drain the ravioli water with a colander.
Return the ravioli to the Instant Pot.
Then pour in some of your favorite pasta sauce. You can use as much or as little as you like!
Stir it up with a spoon to combine.
Because the Instant Pot and ravioli are both still hot, it will heat up the sauce without any additional cooking.
Just let it sit for a minute and it will be ready to serve!
