Instant Pot Frozen Chicken Breasts – How To Pressure Cook Chicken Breast From Frozen

Instant Pot will help you turn a frozen solid package of chicken breasts into a hot dinner in 30 minutes! This is the only Instant Pot frozen chicken breasts recipe you’ll ever need!
My favorite feature of the Instant Pot is the fact that it can cook frozen meat directly without having to defrost it in advance! There is no other appliance that can do that! Sure, you can cook food on the stove, you can bake it in the oven, you can use your slow cooker, but none of these methods do a good job on cooking huge chunks of frozen meat! Only Instant Pot pressure cooker can take a rock-solid frozen package of chicken breasts and make them uniformly cooked and moist and juicy in less than 30 minutes!
Yes, Instant Pot is a life saver for people like me who always forget to defrost meat in advance :) I also have an amazing recipe for Instant Pot Frozen Chicken Legs with lemon and garlic – yummy yum yum!
How do you cook frozen chicken breasts in the Instant Pot? Easy! Just add a cup of water to the Instant Pot, add a package of frozen chicken breasts and pressure cook on High pressure for 20 minutes, then do a 5 minute natural pressure release. The chicken breast will be perfectly cooked through, juicy and tender!
What can you do with plain cooked chicken breast? Lots of yummy things! Chop or shred the chicken and use in:
- BBQ chicken sandwiches
