Baked Chicken Drumsticks Marinated In Caesar Dressing

If you never marinated your chicken in Caesar dressing, you have to try it ASAP!  Caesar dressing makes a perfect marinade, it keeps the chicken moist and extra-juicy and infuses it with a garlicky Caesar flavor.  For extra garlic taste, this recipe uses an extra 4 garlic cloves mixed with the Caesar dressing!

When these chicken legs bake, they don’t dry out and stay very succulent and juicy.  Their skin turns beautiful golden brown and tastes delicious! People will wonder what’s the secret ingredient for these super yummy chicken legs… little do they know that the secret ingredient is the plain old bottled Caesar dressing!

Chicken Legs Dipped In Caesar Dressing

The longer you marinate the chicken legs, the more rich and deep their taste will be. It’s best to marinate them in refrigerator overnight.  However, if you don’t have time for overnight marinating, just marinate for 30 minutes on the counter – it will work just fine.  And if you don’t even have 30 minutes, you can skip the marinating altogether – just slather the chicken legs with the Caesar dressing, stick in the oven and bake right away!

Caesar Marinated Baked Chicken Legs Recipe

These delicious chicken legs are marinated in a Caesar dressing and baked to perfection! Who knew that Caesar dressing makes a perfect chicken marinade? These chicken legs are so perfectly browned and addictive - they are always gobbled up in no time!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken legs
  • 1/2 cup bottled Caesar dressing
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Put the Caesar dressing, minced garlic, salt and pepper in a cup and mix until combined.
  • Put the chicken legs in a large bowl, pour Caesar mixture over them and toss to the chicken legs are evenly coated with Caesar marinade. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Put the Caesar chicken legs on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 40 minutes, or until cooked through.

Notes

Serve these chicken legs with extra Caesar dressing for dipping.
