Steak Fries In Air Fryer

Freshly cooked hot fries! America’s favorite way to eat a potato! And fried at home they are even better. But in this case, you can make steak fries at home with no mess or added oil. Just like my air fryer frozen french fries recipe, this recipe uses frozen steak fries and they are cooked completely in the air fryer! Making them much healthier and leaving you with little to no cleanup.

Plus, unlike regular fries, steak fries are cut thicker, which I find makes them great for dipping into some ranch and my homemade buffalo sauce. Not to mention the perfect pairing with a juicy Air Fried Ribeye Steak or Healthy Turkey Burgers.

So if you haven’t tried cooking fries in the air fryer yet, you are going to become a fan immediately! Because all you need to do is pour your favorite brand of frozen fries into the air fryer basket and cook! But do keep in mind, this recipe was designed for steak fries, so while you can make any fries in the air fryer just remember that the temperature and cooking time is key.

To make the steak fries, open the package and place them into the air fryer basket. They must be frozen to properly cook in the air fryer. Thawed fries just don’t work. Also, it’s important not to overfill the air fryer with too many fries so they have the space to cook evenly.

How Long To Cook Frozen Steak Fries In Air Fryer

Put the basket into the air fryer and cook the steak fries at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 minutes.

Halfway through cooking remove the basket and shake it to toss the fries around. You can also flip them over with a spatula if you want. This is done to further ensure even cooking and make the fries golden brown and crispy. Now, put the basket back into the air fryer and finish cooking.

When the steak fries are done, remove them from the air fryer and serve them hot right away!

The frozen steak fries in air fryer will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days when stored in a container.
