Health Benefits of Potatoes

I recommend leaving the skin on the potato for extra health benefits! You can of course peel the potatoes if you like though.

Did you know that there is a plenty of nutritional value in the skin of the potato?

In addition to the potassium and Vitamin C that the potato already has, the skin actually contains lots of iron, protein, and fiber that can be very beneficial to your health.

This is a great reason to add more potatoes to your diet, especially when they are so crispy and delicious air fried!

The first step is to cut up your potatoes into french fry shapes. If you watch my video tutorial, you can follow along as I cut mine.

Then place them into a large mixing bowl.

Next add on 1 tablespoon of the oil and season with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you prefer. Garlic powder and other herbs could be nice if you want to get creative!

Stir well to combine. Then pour the cut potatoes into the air fryer basket.

Set the temperature of the air fryer to 400F and cook time of 17 minutes.

After 5 minutes of cooking, take the basket out and shake to toss the fries. You can also use your spatula to move them around and prevent sticking. This helps promote browning on all sides.

Then return the basket to the air fryer to let it continue cooking.

Don’t forget the ketchup!

What airfyer did you use for this recipe. I need to find an airfryer because it’s all the rave these days and for a couple of years now. Thank you for the recipe. :)
