The air fryer makes a perfectly crisp veggie burger cooked all the way through. You can use any type of veggie burger you like, such as black bean, Boca, Dr. Praeger’s, etc. I like these quinoa crunch burgers, which are also completely vegan!

I love using my air fryer to cook these veggie burgers when I am in need of a quick lunch or dinner or trying to feed some hungry kids. So easy and yummy!

How to Cook Frozen Veggie Burgers in the Air Fryer

To make these frozen veggie burgers, you only really need your air fryer and the burgers! I like to serve mine on a bun with some toppings but that is optional.

First make sure to spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking oil spray. Then remove the burgers from the package and place two next to each other in the basket so they don’t overlap. If you want to make more, cook them separately.

Next set the temperature of the air fryer to 400F and the cook time to 10 minutes.

Let it cook for 5 minutes and then remove the basket from the air fryer.

Use a spatula to flip the burgers over to the other side. This will ensure even browning on both sides for maximum crispness.

Return the basket to the air fryer and let it finish cooking. When the time is done, make sure the burger is cooked all the way through. If not, you can cook it for a few more minutes until completely done.

Cooking Tips:

  • Cut the burgers open to allow them to cool down slightly before serving to children.
  • For this recipe, you don’t need to worry about defrosting. Just put the veggie burgers in the fryer as they are!
