How To Make Instant Pot Soft Boiled Eggs

Pour a cup of water into the instant pot. Place metal rack inside, if you have one. Gently add egg(s) to rack.

Close lid of instant pot and turn valve to sealing position. Cook at 5 minutes on high pressure. When cooking time is up, quick release the steam. Once the pin has dropped, open the instant pot and carefully remove metal rack containing eggs.

Place eggs in an ice water bath for about 1-2 minutes. Then peel eggs and enjoy!

  • Cook as many eggs you want, the cooking time and amount of cooking water remain the same
  • The metal rack is for convenience; if you don’t have one, just place the eggs directly in the water
  • Placing cooked eggs in ice water makes them easier to peel
