How To Make Applesauce Cookies

Applesauce is like a magic ingredient in these cookies. It provides moisture for soft cookies and a subtle sweetness that is simply delicious.

You’ll want to use regular applesauce for this recipe (not sugar free). Plus rolled oats and raisins.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium-sized bowl, add all ingredients. Stir with a large spoon or spatula until combined.

Shape dough into about 6 cookies on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, then allow them to cool before enjoying.

    Very satisfying dessert for this couple on a heart healthy/diabetes friendly diet. I did add cinnamon and a few walnuts. I firmly pressed the mixture into the bottom of a biscuit cutter to compact and form a perfect looking cookie. This recipe is a winner.
