Health Benefits of Bananas

Bananas have some powerful health benefits!

The main nutrient that bananas are known for containing is potassium. One medium banana contains 13% of your daily recommendation of potassium. This mineral helps promote heart health and manage blood pressure.

Another benefit of bananas is the amount of fiber they contain. Fiber is very important for your diet and a medium banana contains 3 grams of it or 10% of your fiber intake for the day. This can help your cholesterol stay in check and decrease inflammation in the body.

Foods that are high in fiber are great to eat because they help you feel more full without adding extra calories!

Additionally, bananas contain a variety of other vitamins and minerals. This includes, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Magnesium, and Vitamin A.

How to Air Fry Bananas

This recipe is so easy! All you really need is a banana to get started.

You can add some sugar and cinnamon if you like your dessert sweeter, but bananas are already fairly sweet on their own in my opinion.

First you will need a cutting board and a knife.

Start by peeling your banana and then slicing thinly into 1/2 inch slices.

Next, spray the air fryer basket with some non-stick cooking oil spray to prevent the banana from sticking.

Place the sliced banana in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Set the temperature to 380F for 10 minutes.

When done, remove with a spatula to a serving plate.

Enjoy warm on top of your favorite dessert or on their own!
