Air Fryer Frozen Coconut Shrimp

I love good food that is fast AND easy. It is the best of both worlds since you don’t have to spend forever in the kitchen to get tasty meals.

One of my favorite appetizers to make in the air fryer is a batch of frozen coconut shrimp! These breaded shrimps make the perfect addition to any seafood dish and can brighten up any dinner or lunch.

I don’t get to eat seafood as much as I would like to, which is why I love how easy this coconut shrimp is to make.

I can enjoy them without having to spend an hour of prep work in the kitchen. And, my family loves them as well, so it is a win-win!

This is a super easy recipe for shrimp that only requires one (yes, ONE) ingredient and just a small amount of cook time. You can buy locally frozen coconut shrimp and some grocery stores, but there are also a ton of different options in the freezer section.

You don’t even have to prepare anything. Just drop everything in the air fryer and let it do its thing!

Once they have been cooked in the air fryer, no one would be able to tell that they were not fresh!

How to Make Air Fryer Frozen Coconut Shrimp

Like all of my air fryer recipes, this shrimp recipe is very quick and easy, requiring almost no prep time or extra work. The air fryer does all of the hard work for you and is ready in under 20 minutes!

Start by turning the fryer to 390F and spray the basket with a non-stick cooking spray. This will guarantee that none of your shrimp are going to stick to the basket.

Next, pour your bag of shrimp into the basket and spread them out in an even layer. Make sure that none are on top of each other so that they get crispy on all sides.

Cook for 4 minutes before flipping each shrimp over to the other side to cook. Cook for 4 more minutes.

Remove the shrimp from the basket and serve hot!

What To Serve With Crispy Coconut Shrimp

This frozen coconut shrimp is full of tropical flavor and goes well with a variety of dishes! I personally love to eat these dipped into some sweet chili sriracha sauce for a bit of a kick.
