Making this impressive pineapple shell bowl is really easy! Just cut the pineapple in half lengthwise with a sharp knife, making sure the green top is still attached to one of the halves. The half with the greens will be your pineapple bowl :) Run the knife around the sides of the pineapple flesh to loosen it, then scoop it out with an ice cream scoop. The pineapple bowl is ready!
To make the pineapple salsa, just chop the pineapple flesh, bell pepper, tomatoes, jalapeno and cilantro, squeeze the lime over it and mix until combined. So easy and so delicious!

- 1 pineapple
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- ½ red onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeno, finely diced
- ½ bunch cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 lime
- Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, leaving the stem attached to one of the halves. Scoop out the pineapple flesh from the shell with the stem (first use a knife to cut on the sides, then an ice cream scoop to get the pineapple out).
- Dice the pineapple flesh.
- Put pineapple pieces in a bowl and add diced bell pepper, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno and cilantro.
- Cut the lime into quarters and squeeze the lime juice over the chopped pineapple mixture. Mix the pineapple salsa until combined.
- Put the pineapple salsa in a pineapple shell bowl and serve. (Not all salsa will fit in the pineapple shell. Serve the leftover pineapple salsa in a regular bowl).
