Cooking Tips

  • We chop up the green onions before adding them to the blender because they puree easier that way
  • Pause about every 10 seconds of blending to remove the container from the base and shake it. This helps the contents to mix together and blend faster.
  • We recommend serving this dish with chips, although you can also serve with chopped veggies, cubes of bread, or even veggie chips (see serving suggestions for recipes)

Is Green Onion Dip The Same As French Onion Dip?

No, Green Onion Dip is not the same as French Onion Dip. Green Onion Dip uses chopped, fresh, green onions in the recipe, whereas French Onion Dip is typically sour cream or mayonnaise blended with a dry onion soup mix.
