How To Make Avocado Crema

Pull out the bender for this recipe!

First let’s prep the avocado. Slice in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the insides and slice avocado into pieces. Add slices to the blender.

Next, drop in 1/2 cup of sour cream. Slice the lime and squeeze the juice into the blender.

Now add the seasonings. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Close up the blender and run it for about 10 seconds.

At this point, remove the blender from the motor and shake up the contents to mix more thoroughly. Replace blender on base and blend for another 10 seconds.

Now check to see that the mixture is completely blended. If not, keep blending until mixture is smooth and creamy.

Once dip is ready, scoop from blender to a serving bowl. Use as a topping or a dip.
