The air fryer is a great way to cook breakfast sausage patties in no time! Perfect for making breakfast sandwiches with or just serve with some eggs and toast for a hearty morning meal.

I like to keep some in the freezer and then take out to thaw the night before I want to use them in the air fryer so they will be ready to go! Or if you want to cook them straight from frozen, that works too – just put frozen sausage patties in the air fryer and add an extra 5 minutes to cooking time!

My family loves eating these with some ketchup and hash browns!

You don’t need to use any oil when cooking these but they will still be nice and brown when done from the air fryer.

You could also serve them for a weekend brunch with family or friends. Just make a few batches so there is enough for everyone if serving a large group!

How to Prepare Air Fryer Breakfast Sausage Patties

These are very simple to make, even if you’ve never made sausage patties before!

Just pick up a package of fresh, not frozen, sausage patties from the store. If you have some in your freezer, make sure to thaw out before following this recipe.

I used 6 patties because that is how many fit in my air fryer in a single layer. You can use more if your air fryer is bigger than mine. But make sure they are in an even layer to promote browning.

Just place the patties in the air fryer as pictured above, using a spatula. Insert the basket into the air fryer.

Then set the temperature of the air fryer to 390F for 9 minutes. That’s all you have to do!

When finished, remove carefully as they will be hot. Place on a serving plate.
