A dash of ginger is nice too as well as cardamom and nutmeg. So have fun with the spices and get as creative with the coating as you like!

How to Make Air Fryer Donut Holes From Biscuits

You only need 4 easy to find ingredients to make these homemade air fried donut holes! The most important one being a can of biscuit dough. I like to use the Pillsbury brand of biscuits, but any brand will work perfectly with this recipe.

This is what you will need:

  • Canned Biscuits
  • 2 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

First, remove the 4 biscuits from the can. Then cut each one into 3 pieces and form all those pieces into balls.  These are your donut holes!

Now, place all the formed donut holes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. But make sure that they aren’t touching, so they don’t stick together while cooking. Then put the air fryer basket into the air fryer and cook the donut holes for 7 minutes at 320 degrees Fahrenheit.

Once the donut holes are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer and put them on a plate. Then set them aside for now while you do the next step.

Next, pour the sugar and cinnamon onto a plate and mix them together. Then pour the melted butter onto a separate plate. Now, put all the cooked donut holes onto the plate with the melted butter and roll them around until they are fully coated in butter. Then move the butter coated donut holes to the plate with the cinnamon sugar mixture and roll them around again until they are fully covered in yummy goodness.

And that’s it! You’ve just made yourself some homemade air fryer donut holes from biscuit dough!

Can I Use Any Brand of Canned Biscuits?

Yes! I like to use Pillsbury Grands biscuits, but any brand will work perfectly for this air fried donut hole recipe. Yet, if you use smaller biscuits you may need to cut them into 2 pieces instead of 3 and use 6 biscuits in total rather than 4.
