BBQ Pork Chops in the Air Fryer

These pork chops cook up tender and juicy in the air fryer! Some BBQ sauce brushed on top and they are perfection. Everyone in the family will love them.

The air fryer cooks boneless pork chops just the way you like them– soft and fork tender with tons of flavor. Serve these with some hearty sides, like Brussels Sprouts and Air Fryer Diced Potatoes for a home-cooked meal that will warm you up.

How To Make Air Fryer BBQ Pork Chops

It’s important to spray the basket with nonstick spray or brush it with oil, in preparation for the pork chops. You will add the bbq sauce at the end, to avoid a sticky mess in your air fryer.

Next, season the pork chops. You can use any season you like, this recipe calls for salt and pepper. Be sure to rub in the seasonings and flip over to season both sides of the pork chops.

Place pork chops in basket of air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees for 8 minutes, flipping the pork chops halfway through cooking time. 

Brush tops of pork chops with bbq sauce, then cook at 400 degrees for 2 minutes. Flip pork chops over, brush additional sauce on top of pork chops and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

At this point, you’ll want to check the internal temperature of the pork to make sure the chops are fully cooked. They should register at least 145 degrees with meat thermometer. If not, place the basket back in the air fryer for a few more minutes of cooking. 

Use a spatula to remove from air fryer basket and place on serving plate.

How Long Does it Take for Pork Chops to Cook in the Air Fryer?

Boneless pork chops need about 10 minutes in the air fryer to cook fully. Bone-in pork chops require about 5 more minutes. Always be sure to flip pork chops halfway through cooking time.
