The first step is to spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray or lightly brush with some oil to prevent sticking.

After 8 minutes of cooking, take out the basket and give it a shake to toss the breaded okra to ensure it will get brown on all sides.

Return the basket to the air fryer and let it finish cooking.

When done, serve warm and enjoy!

How To Store And Reheat Air Fried Breaded Okra

Breaded okra is best when served immediately, while it’s still hot and crispy straight from the air fryer.  However, you can still prepare it in advance if you’d like – it can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.  To store air fried breaded okra, just put it in an air-tight food storage container and refrigerate until ready to use.

To reheat breaded okra, just put it on a microwave-safe plate and microwave for 1-2 minutes until hot.  Microwaved breaded okra won’t be as crispy as it was right after air-frying.  If you’d like it to be very crunchy, you can reheat the okra in the air fryer – just put breaded okra in the air fryer and cook on 400F for 5 minutes.  Enjoy!
