Air Fryer Breaded Mushrooms

You can have breaded mushrooms from scratch in 15 minutes with this easy recipe. All you need to do is dip mushrooms in egg and breadcrumbs, put them in the air fryer, and they will be cooked to perfection!

The air fried breaded mushrooms come out so crispy and delicious – you’ll love making them in the air fryer! Imagine biting into these mouthwatering breaded mushrooms, so yummy!

No need to turn on the oven for this recipe!

How to Make Air Fryer Breaded Mushrooms

This recipe is very easy to follow and does not require many ingredients at all!

You will need:

  • 8 oz whole mushrooms, cleaned and de-stemmed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a small bowl, crack the egg and whisk well. Then add some breadcrumbs to a plate.

You will also need to lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking, or brush with vegetable or olive oil.

Make sure your mushrooms are cleaned and the stems removed before starting.

First, dip the mushroom in the egg batter, then roll the mushroom in the breadcrumbs until fully coated. Place in the air fryer basket. Repeat steps with remaining mushrooms.

Once all mushrooms are in the air fryer in a single layer, sprinkle on salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other seasonings of your choice!

Then set the air fryer temperature to 390F for 15 minutes.

When done, transfer to a serving plate and serve warm!
