I didn`t know this was for instant pot cooking only
I do not have one…sorry to say…But if I did have
one, I love gizzards, and this menu would be
great.so I know it would rate a five star.

Started hunting recipes for nutritional value after finding vitamin and mineral deficiencies. This one checked a bunch of boxes for added nutrition while cutting out the bad stuff in diet… I expected ho-hum Thanksgiving Gizzards but WOW! Melt in the mouth delicious with somewhat of a buttery taste. No pain-in-the-neck special run to the store necessary; took two minutes to trim off extra fat with scissors; made a gravy “with yogurt” to reduce cholesterol absorption; no salt necessary and spooned over cholesterol free Idahoan mashed potatoes with a side of fresh acorn squash. Had no idea healthy could taste so good.

My family devoured these delectable bites! I added”Better Than Bouillon” chicken base to the water, included hearts along with the gizzards, and also sprinkled on some smoked paprika for a little extra flavor. The cooking time was perfect and they came out so tender and flavorful!
