This easy method for grilling hot dogs will become your go-to for cookouts and easy dinners!
Start by firing up the grill. Set to high heat and allow it to preheat for 1 minute.
Once the grill is ready, open it up and lower the temperature to medium.
Place hot dogs horizontally on grill using barbecue tongs. Cook for about 2 minutes, watching closely so the hot dogs don’t burn. Once you see good grill marks on the bottom, flip the hot dogs over to the other side.
Cook for another 2 minutes (longer if you prefer them well done). Take hot dogs off the grill and lay out on plate or platter.
You can serve the hot dogs as is and let people add toppings, or place them in buns and top before serving.
