Garlic Green Beans Recipe

Garlic green beans is a really tasty and healthy side dish. To make garlic green beans, first the green beans are cooked in a microwave, then quickly pan-fried with a little olive oil and minced garlic. Garlic really adds excitement to an otherwise plain green beans, and makes you want to eat more and more of these healthy green vegetables!

Recipe Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions How To Make Garlic Green Beans
- Wash the green beans and trim them – cut off the ends of the green beans on both sides. (To save yourself this step of trimming green beans, you can buy packaged green beans that are already washed and trimmed.)
- Put the green beans in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a lid. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and green beans. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
- Remove garlic green beans from heat and serve.
These garlic green beans taste great both hot and cold. You can make a big portion of these yummy garlic green beans, then refrigerate the leftovers and enjoy them cold the next day.
