How To Make Crescent Roll Cinnamon Rolls

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Prep a baking sheet with parchment paper so the cinnamon rolls don’t stick to it while baking.

Open up a can of crescent roll and unroll the dough on a flat preparation surface. Pinch together the seams to make one flat rectangle.

Brush dough with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Then sprinkle 1/2 of a cup of brown sugar on top. Try to distribute sugar evenly over the crescent roll dough. Finally, sprinkle surface with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Roll up the crescent roll dough (lengthwise) and slice into 6 equal pieces. Lay slices on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Flatten them a bit to get them in the right shape.

Bake for 25 minutes. Then whisk up the icing- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of water. Drizzle over rolls and allow to cool for 5 minutes before eating.

  • Use a knife to gently mark the spots you will cut on the cinnamon roll dough. This helps you slice equal pieces
  • If need be, add more water (a teaspoon at a time) until icing reaches desired consistency
  • Use a spoon to easily drizzle icing on the tops of the cinnamon rolls
