Air Fryer Gnocchi

Gnocchi In The Air Fryer
The traditional way to cook gnocchi is to boil it, but just wait until you try it in the air fryer! With a little bit of olive oil and parmesan cheese, it cooks up so crispy and delicious. It’s real unique appetizer or pasta side dish and takes just minutes to cook.
Once you get the recipe down, you can switch it up to your liking. Add additional seasonings, like garlic salt or chili powder. And you can serve them with a variety of dips, like Italian herbs in olive oil, pesto sauce, or creamy Alfredo sauce. It’ll be a big hit at parties!

How To Make Air Fryer Gnocchi
No need to boil the gnocchi beforehand, it cooks fully in the air fryer.
Open package of gnocchi and place in mixing bowl. Drizzle on olive oil and toss gnocchi to coat.
Add parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning and toss to coat once again.
Move gnocchi to air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, pausing halfway through cooking time to mix up the gnocchi with a spatula.
Once gnocchi is done cooking, remove it from the air fryer basket and place on a serving plate. Serve with marinara sauce or any other dip you love with gnocchi.
Cooking Tips
- The olive oil is needed for moisture during the air frying process. If you choose to omit it, boil the gnocchi before cooking in the air fryer.
- Be sure to toss gnocchi in air fryer basket halfway through cooking time, this helps them to cook more evenly
- When gnocchi are done cooking, you may need to scrap some gnocchi and/or parmesan cheese off the air fryer basket with a spatula
Can You Fry Gnocchi Without Boiling It?

- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup marinara optional, for serving
