I love to eat apples as a healthy treat or sweet dessert. There are so many different ways you can use and serve an apple.

These microwave-baked apples are sweet and caramelized to perfection in just a few minutes. No having to heat up any cooking devices or having to wait for an hour! It’s fast, simple, and so delicious you would never believe that it was made in the microwave.

Ingredients Needed to Make Microwave Apples

To make these delicious baked apples, you will only need a few ingredients:

  • Apples
  • Raisins
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon

That’s really all you will need!

How To Bake Apples In The Microwave

Before you start this recipe, thoroughly wash and dry your apples before using them.

Then, cut out a hole on top of each apple, creating a kind of well.

Place the apples in a microwave-safe bowl with the top facing up.

Sprinkle the inside of the cutout holes with cinnamon, raisins and add a piece of butter on top of each apple. This will flavor the apples as they cook and make them delicious and sticky!

Cover the bowl with a microwave-safe lid or plate.

Microwave the apples on High for 6 minutes. Make sure to check them every few minutes, just to make sure they are cooking and not falling over.

What To Serve With Baked Cinnamon Apples

These baked apples are soft, delicious, and bursting with flavor from the cinnamon and raisins! They are delicious to eat all on their own, but they can be served with other things as well.
