How To Make Chicken Onion Stew In A Slowcooker

This chicken onion stew recipe is made in a slow cooker and it uses only 3 ingredients. No pre-cooking of any kind required – just put the chicken pieces, chopped onions and ketchup in a slow cooker, press the “Cook” button and come back to a hot cooked dinner. This is a lazy person’s dream come true!
Chicken Onion Stew Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cut-up chicken
- 5 onions
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Peel and chop the onions.
- Rub the chicken pieces with salt and pepper all over.
- Put chicken, onions and ketchup in a slow cooker. Toss all ingredients.
- Cook in a slow cooker for 4 hours on “High” or 8 hours on “Low”.
After simmering for hours in a slow cooker, the onion sauce in this chicken onion stew is absolutely delicious! You can dip the piece of bread in the sauce to eat up every last drop!
