These easy cookies are perfect for those who love coconut. The sweet coconut flakes are so yummy with the rich chocolate chips. Soft and chewy, these macaroons will be a hit with everyone.

How To Make Coconut Chocolate Chip Macaroons

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the cookies don’t stick to it.

Add coconut, milk, and vanilla to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.

Pour in most of chocolate chips (reserve about 2 T) and stir to mix it all up.

Use a large spoon or your hands to drop cookie balls onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheet. This recipe will make about 12-13 cookies.

Top the raw cookie balls with the remaining chocolate chips.

Bake macaroons for 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. The middles will solidify as they cool.

Set them out to cool for 30 minutes, then enjoy!

Yes! Just use unsweetened coconut and swap out the sweetened condensed milk for honey. Or, keep the sweetened coconut and use egg whites in place of the condensed milk. Either way, you will get the chewy macaroons that everyone loves.

Why Do My Macaroons Fall Apart?

There may be too much liquid in the batter. Adjust the liquid to coconut ratio and be sure to let the cookies cool completely before serving.
