Start by grabbing a can of sweetened condensed milk and your favorite chocolate chips—milk, dark, or even white chocolate works like a charm. Mix these two ingredients together in a microwave-safe bowl. Then, pop the bowl into the microwave and heat it in short bursts, stirring in between, until the chocolate chips melt and combine smoothly with the condensed milk. Pour this delightful mixture into a dish, let it cool, and within no time, you’ve got yourself a batch of creamy, decadent fudge that’s ready to be sliced and savored!

How To Make 2 Ingredient Microwave Fudge

Line an 8″ x 8″ baking dish with parchment paper for easy clean-up.

Add an entire bag of chocolate chips and a can of sweetened condensed milk to a microwave-safe mixing bowl.

Place bowl in microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Open up microwave to stir ingredients, then close up microwave and heat for another 30 seconds.

Pull bowl out of microwave and place on countertop. Continue to stir for a minute or two, or until all chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth and blended.

Scoop fudge mixture into baking dish. Smooth out as best as possible with a spoon. Place in fridge to cool down.

Pull the fudge out of the fridge and smooth the top completely with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place back in fridge until set.

Once fudge is ready, pull it out of the pan by the edges of the parchment paper. Lay it out on the cutting board and peel off the paper. You can flip the fudge block back over again or leave as is. Slice into pieces and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

  • Lining the baking dish with parchment paper allows you to easily lift the cooled fudge out of the container
  • All microwaves are different, if after 1 minute total minute of heating, the chocolate chips are not melted- heat for another 30 seconds
  • We recommend chilling the fudge in the fridge as the quickest way to set it

Notes

  1. I followed directions exactly and the fudge is sticky and gummy. Can I fix this? I did add black walnuts but I don’t think that should make a difference

    1. Sorry your fudge didn’t turn out well. Not sure what happened, maybe some chocolate chip brands don’t work as well as others? Please try putting it in the freezer for 1 hour, it might help it set.
