These delicious wraps are made with smoked salmon, avocado and onion.  Smoked salmon tastes great with avocado, and the onion gives this wrap a surpise crunch!

The most well known food combination with lox is smoked salmon and cream cheese, but avocado and salmon is even better in my opinion :)  If you never tried smoked salmon with avocado, give it a try – you will discover new favorite way of eating smoked salmon!

I cook a lot, so I’ve been making a variety of sandwiches and wraps for lunch, but for some reason it took me a while to discover this great wrap idea with smoked salmon and avocado.  Once I made those wraps for the first time, my whole family, including the kids, loved them!  These smoked salmon wraps are so easy to make and they make such tasty unique lunch!

Making these amazing wraps is super-easy – just mash the avocado, spread on the tortilla, top with smoked salmon and onion slices and roll!  Anyone can make this recipe in 5 minutes, and it doesn’t require any cooking – it’s truly foolproof!

You can also served these yummy rolls at parties – just cut into pinwheel slices and it would make a great appetizer!

Smoked Salmon And Avocado Tortilla Rolls (Wraps)

These smoked salmon and avocado wraps are simply amazing! Guacamole is spread on the tortillas, topped with smoked salmon and onion slices, and then tortillas are rolled into a roll - so good!

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 package 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 lime squeezed

Instructions

  • Put avocado in a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add lime juice, sprinkle with salt and pepper and mix to combined.
  • Put 4 tortillas on serving plates.
  • Divide the avocado mixture between 4 tortillas, and spread it on the tortillas.
  • Divide the smoked salmon slices between 4 tortillas. Put the smoked salmon slices on top of avocado.
  • Put onion slices along the center of the tortilla on top of the salmon.
  • Roll the tortillas into a tight roll to make the wraps.
  • Cut the wraps in half before serving.

Here’s another picture of this smoked salmon and avocado wrap before it was rolled into a roll.  I used the healthy Flatout wrap for the tortilla and the Costco smoked salmon.

And here’s another twist to this recipe – adding a slice of cheese!  So good!

These smoked salmon and avocado wraps are also very portable and don’t get soggy, so you can pack them for lunch very easily.  The lime juice keeps the avocado from turning brown, so these wraps are great in a lunchbox!  To pack the wraps, just wrap them tightly in a plastic wrap – that’s all.  You will surely look forward to eating those delicious smoked salmon and avocado wraps for lunch!

  1. I made these for a dinner party appetizer last night and everybody loved them! They we’re all gone in 5 minutes. Next time I might add some dill & parsley and hot mustard for some kick. Definitely a new favourite!
