Homemade marinated mushrooms make a very tasty appetizer.  Marinated mushrooms are a great addition to the party table!  This recipe for marinated mushrooms is very easy and very tasty, and only takes 15 minutes to make.

Easy Homemade Marinated Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb white button mushrooms
1 onion
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt

Directions:

If the mushrooms are small, cut them in halves.  If they are on a larger side, cut them into quarters.

Mince the garlic. Chop the onion. Put vinegar, oil, parsley, onion, brown sugar, salt and garlic in a saucepan.  Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil.  Add the mushrooms, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

Serve the marinated mushrooms chilled.  Homemade marinated mushrooms can be safely stored in a refrigerator for up to a week.
