Creamy Sweet Coleslaw Restaurant-Style Recipe – Best Ever!

This post may contain affiliate links (disclosure).

This homemade coleslaw tastes just like the coleslaw they serve in the restaurants!  So creamy with a perfect amount of sweetness – this is the only coleslaw recipe you’ll ever need!

Easy Creamy Sweet Coleslaw

This coleslaw is famous, truly famous.  Everyone wants it.  Everyone devours it.  This is the best homemade coleslaw recipe ever!  Creamy sweet coleslaw – just the way the coleslaw should be.  It’s restaurant-style.  In fact, it’s better than restaurant! And unlike the restaurant, you’ll get a huge tub of this coleslaw instead of a puny cup :)

How To Make Creamy Coleslaw

Stick your spoon into the sweet creamy coleslaw.  Bathe your taste buds in the creamy dressing.  Taste the sweetness and feel the crunch.  Shredded cabbage and carrots are just made for the white creamy sweet dressing.  This is perfection.  This coleslaw is the real deal.

The best part is that you can put this mouthwatering coleslaw together in 5 minutes.  Yes, you can make the restaurant-style coleslaw in 5 minutes flat! All you need to do is mix the mayo, oil, sugar, vinegar and salt for a dressing, toss with the packaged coleslaw mix and your amazing creamy sweet coleslaw is ready to be devoured! For best results, chill for at least 1 hour to allow the cabbage and carrots to really marinate in the creamy dressing, but if you can’t wait, just dig in right away :)

Sweet Creamy Homemade Coleslaw

For the best tasting creamy dressing, use regular mayo in this recipe.  Do not use low-fat mayo – it just doesn’t taste right. My favorite mayo brand is Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise (and I’m not paid by them to write this).  If you are watching calories, check out my coleslaw recipe without mayo :)

Got red cabbage? You can use green or red cabbage in this coleslaw recipe, and I also got a special recipe of red cabbage slaw – it’s so colorful and delicious!

I also like to add poppy seeds into the coleslaw dressing, but if you don’t have them, feel free to leave them out.  You can also substitute poppy seeds with celery seeds – it will also taste amazing!  If you’d rather not use packaged coleslaw mix, you can make it from scratch by shredding the cabbage and carrots yourself in the food processor!

Easy Coleslaw Recipe

If you like the creamy sweet coleslaw, my guess is that you also like a good old-fashioned potato salad.  I have a perfect recipe for you – easy creamy potato salad recipe.  It always gets rave reviews and this should also go on your “must-make” list!
