Welch’s Fruit Snacks At Costco

Welch’s Fruit Snacks are tasty little packaged snacks made with fruit juice.  They are a great snack to pack in kids lunchboxes!

The best place to buy Welch’s Fruit Snacks is Costco.  Costco sells big boxes of those fruit snacks at a bargain price of $12.21 per box of 80 fruit snacks – this comes to a price of 15 cents per fruit snack package, which is much cheaper than you’ll find anywhere else.  These fruit snacks are individually packaged and don’t spoil – just put them in your pantry and they’ll last you for a while.

Are the fruit snacks healthy?  Here’s the nutritional information for Welch’s fruit snacks – serving size 1 package, 80 calories, zero fat, 19 grams total carbohydrate, 11 grams sugar, 1 gram of protein, 25% vitamin A, 100% vitamin C, 25% vitamin E.  As long as you limit yourself to one package, these fruit snacks are pretty healthy.  Just don’t eat too many, as the calories will add up!  I keep my box of fruit snacks on the top shelf of my pantry and limit the kids to one fruit snack per day, packed in their lunchbox.

The Welch’s fruit snacks look and taste like candy – very similar to gummy bears – they are sweet, soft and chewy.  For something that’s so similar to candy, fruit snacks are quite a healthy treat.  Candy versus fruit snacks – I’ll take the fruit snacks :) They even have 1 gram of protein, which is quite surprising :)  And 25% vitamin A, 100% vitamin C and 25% vitamin E are a significant amount of vitamins!  Kids absolutely love the fruit snacks and look forward to this tasty treat in their lunchboxes :)
