Seven Layer Bars
These gooey Seven Layer Bars are a party-perfect treat that’s always a hit! Made with layers of graham cracker crumbs, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and walnuts – every bite is rich, sweet, and irresistible. This one-pan dessert is super easy to throw together, and you don’t even need a mixer!

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 1 can
- 1 ⅓ cups shredded sweetened coconut
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the butter in a 13x9 inch baking dish and put it in the oven until melted.
- Tilt the pan to coat the bottom and sides with melted butter.
- Evenly sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the buttered base.
- Add layers of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and chopped walnuts on top.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layers.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut across the top to finish the layers.
- Bake for 25 minutes, cool completely in the pan, then cut into 36 bars.
Notes
- Swap butterscotch chips for peanut butter chips for a different twist.
- Bars freeze well, perfect for making ahead!
