This Marinated Tuna Steak is juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. Fresh tuna steaks are soaked in a bright citrus soy marinade with garlic and herbs, then grilled to perfection. It’s a simple seafood dinner that tastes restaurant-quality but is perfect for home cooks.
In a large non-reactive dish, mix together the orange juice, soy sauce, olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.
Add the tuna steaks and turn them to coat evenly in the marinade.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and gently shake off excess, reserving the marinade for basting.
Place the tuna steaks on the hot grill and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
Flip the steaks, brush with the reserved marinade, and continue grilling for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Discard any remaining marinade, serve immediately, and enjoy.
Notes
Fresh herbs give this marinade the best flavor.
Tuna is best slightly pink in the center to keep it tender and juicy.
