1tspolive oilor vegetable oil, coconut oil, or butter
4cupsBrussels sproutsshaved
1/2tspsalt
1/4tsppepper
1/2tspgarlic powder
Instructions
Drizzle a bit of oil onto a pan and turn the heat to high.
Add the shaved Brussels sprouts to the pan and wait a minute until the oil starts to sizzle. Then turn the heat down to medium high and stir up the Brussels sprouts.
Cook them, stirring every minute, until they are tender to your liking. This will take about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them and turn down the heat if the veggies start to burn before the cooking time is up.
Next sprinkle them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir everything together to coat the Brussels sprouts in the seasonings.
Then turn off the heat and move the Brussels sprouts from the pan to a serving plate.
Use any seasonings you like on these Brussels sprouts
You can substitute the olive oil for vegetable oil, coconut oil, or butter. If you are cooking with a nonstick pan, just use a little bit of oil to add some flavor.
When sautéing Brussels sprouts, season them at the end of the cooking time, as they shrink during the cooking process
