These easy Mushroom Pork Chops are the perfect one-pan dinner for a cozy, satisfying meal! Juicy pork chops are simmered in a creamy mushroom and onion sauce made with condensed mushroom soup, comfort food at its best. With just a few basic ingredients and simple steps, this hearty recipe is perfect for busy weeknights.
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic salt on both sides.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops on both sides. Once browned, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and chopped onion. Sauté for about 1 minute to start releasing flavor.
Place the browned pork chops back into the skillet on top of the mushroom and onion mixture.
Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the top.
Cover the skillet with a lid, reduce the heat to medium-low, and let everything simmer for 20–30 minutes. Pork is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Serve hot with your favorite side dish like mashed potatoes, rice, or green beans.
Notes
Don’t skip browning the pork chops, it adds rich flavor to the final dish.
You can use boneless or bone-in pork chops; just adjust cooking time slightly if they’re thicker or thinner.
