Easy Smashed Potatoes Recipe With Fresh Herbs
These SMASHED potatoes are so much easier to make then mashed! All you need to do is boil the potatoes, then stir them with a spoon with some butter and fresh herbs! So simple and so delicious!

medium potatoes
peeled and quartered

tbsp
butter
1/2
bunch fresh dill
finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and boil for 25 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and return to the pot (do not turn on the stove, we are just using the pot to mix the potatoes).
Cut the butter into 4 pieces and add to the potatoes. Wait for 2 minutes, so the butter starts melting.
Add the fresh dill and stir the potatoes with a spoon until the butter and dill are evenly distributed.
Notes
You can substitute dill with parsley or chives for a different herbal flavor.
To make this dish vegan, substitute butter with extra-virgin olive oil.
