Instructions
First prep the plantains. Chop off the ends and peel the plantains. Cut into slices. Keep in mind that the thinner the slices, the quicker they cook.
Drizzle enough olive oil into a frying pan to coat the bottom.
Add plantain slices in a single layer.
Sprinkle on the seasonings and use a spatula to toss the plantains.
Turn heat to high and wait until the oil starts sizzling. This means the pan has reached high heat.
At this time, reduce heat to medium high and stir/flip plantains.
Cook the plantains for 8 minutes total, stirring every minute.
After cooking time is up, try a plantain. If you prefer them crispier, add a minute or two to the cooking time. If they are ready, turn off the heat and move them to a serving plate.

Notes
Cut the plantains into any shapes, as long as the slices are mostly uniform in size for even cooking
Olive oil is suggested here, but you can use any kind of veggie oil, coconut oil, butter, or omit the oil completely, as long as you are using a nonstick pan
If at any time during the cooking process the plantains start to burn, just reduce the heat to medium
