These Grilled Bell Pepper are perfect for summer! Simply season and grill for a deep flavor that everyone will love. And it's such a healthy and easy side dish.
Preheat your grill. Turn heat to high and close the lid so the grill heats faster.
While the grill is preheating, slice the bell peppers in half and remove the inner membranes and seeds.
Pour a little bit of olive oil into a small dish. Brush the bell peppers with oil. You can omit the olive oil, if desired, but it does add flavor and prevent the peppers from sticking to the grill.
Sprinkle peppers with salt and pepper. Then flip peppers over; oil and season again. It's time to grill them.
Turn the heat down to low. (Adjust the heat to how hot your grill runs) Use heat-safe tongs to place bell peppers on top of grill grates. Close lid and cook for 3 minutes.
Open grill to check bell peppers. If they have grill marks, then they are ready to be flipped. If not, cook them for another minute or so.
Use tongs to carefully flip bell peppers over. Close the grill and cook for another 3 minutes. Once the time is up, open grill and check that the peppers are tender to your liking.
Turn off the grill and remove the peppers. Place them on a serving tray or plate.
