This homemade fresh pineapple salsa tastes amazing! The presentation of the pineapple shell bowl is simply epic! This pineapple salsa will be the talk of every party!
Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, leaving the stem attached to one of the halves. Scoop out the pineapple flesh from the shell with the stem (first use a knife to cut on the sides, then an ice cream scoop to get the pineapple out).
Make the pineapple salsa
Dice the pineapple flesh.
Put pineapple pieces in a bowl and add diced bell pepper, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno and cilantro.
Cut the lime into quarters and squeeze the lime juice over the chopped pineapple mixture. Mix the pineapple salsa until combined.
Put the pineapple salsa in a pineapple shell bowl and serve. (Not all salsa will fit in the pineapple shell. Serve the leftover pineapple salsa in a regular bowl).
