head red cabbage
cored and shredded

carrots
peeled and shredded

canola oil

red wine vinegar

Instructions
In a bowl, mix the canola oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to make a dressing.
Put shredded red cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Pour dressing over it and toss to combine.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Drain the red cabbage slaw before serving.
