This is a staple in my household and it usually tastes great. I gave this 4 stars because of packaging and delivery, the bottle arrived all bent out of shape on top which could make it difficult to pour and might affect the preservation of the product. Or it might not. Who knows, let's give it a few weeks.

I am proficient in cooking with all Wine Vinegars of the world. Mirin is among the very best seasoning wine vinegars and cooking wines. Top quality Xaxing Vinegar as well. Pomegranate vinegar and Persimmon vinegars are two of the healthiest right beside the old dependable Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. I can talk about vinegars for hours as they are complex and wonderful making them necessary to all cooking. I like to match to the cuisine but this Mirin finds its way around the world of food with me. You will always be happy with Mirin.

Great tasting and useful product. But since I bought this same bottle here on Amazon just 3 months ago, you have increased the price by 36.4%. That's obscene. There is no possible justification for such a radical price increase. I can now by six 10 oz. bottles in my local grocery for much less than you're charging for this 60 oz. bottle. And that's where I'll be buying it until you get the price back down where it belongs.
