Recipe type: Bread
Cuisine: Brazilian
Serves: 8 servings
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups tapioca flour
  • ⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Pour olive oil, water and milk into a saucepan, add salt and stir. Heat it over High heat just until the mixture comes to a boil. When it comes to a boil, remove it from heat immediately. Add the tapioca flour and stir until smooth. Set aside and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Whisk the eggs in another bowl and set aside.
  5. When the milk mixture cooled down, add the Parmesan cheese and eggs to it, and mix until combined. The mixture will be chunky and have the texture like cottage cheese.
  6. Put rounded ¼ cup balls of mixture on a baking sheet.
  7. Put the cheese bread in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the tops of the bread rolls are golden-brown.
The texture of this cheese bread is supposed to be chewy and cheesy.
