These smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber appetizer bites are so simple and taste amazing! Plus they are low-carb and gluten-free! Simple is always best! They disappear from party platters immediately!
Recipe type: Appetizer
Cuisine: American
Serves: 12 servings
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced
  • 1 package (4 oz) smoked salmon
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)
  1. Slice the English cucumber into rounds and put on a sheet of paper towel. Cover with another sheet of paper towel and press down with your hands to help absorb the moisture from the top. Leave the cucumbers on a paper towel for 5 minutes.
  2. Transfer the cucumber slices to a serving platter and discard the paper towels.
  3. Cut the smoked salmon into pieces that are approximately sized like cucumber slices (using scissors to cut salmon makes it super easy).
  4. Spread the cucumber slices with cream cheese and top with smoked salmon slices.
  5. Add a spig of fresh dill on top of each cucumber slice (if desired).
If making ahead, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
