Giant oven baked German pancake - YES, YES, YES! This puffy golden-brown baked pancake is amazing! Super easy to make with simple ingredients from your pantry and so mouthwatering!

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)
  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.
  2. Pour melted butter on the bottom of 9x13 inch non-stick baking dish, making sure to distribute it evenly all over the bottom of the dish.
  3. Put eggs, milk, salt and vanilla in a bowl and mix until combined. Add the flour and mix until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture in the baking dish.
  5. Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the German pancake from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. Add the chocolate chips on top (if using).
  8. Cut the German pancake into squares and serve immediately.
