This delicious banana bread is made using just one overripe banana! The texture of this bread is simply perfect - tender and soft! This banana bread is full of banana flavor in every bite, it tastes amazing!

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter, softened
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder (aluminum-free baking powder recommended)
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Grease the inside of the non-stick loaf pan with 1 tbsp of butter.
  3. Put the banana in a large bowl and mash it with a fork.
  4. Add the egg, sugar and 5 tbsp butter, and mix it until combined.
  5. Add the milk and vanilla, and mix until combined.
  6. Add flour and baking powder, and mix until combined.
  7. Pour the batter in the greased loaf pan.
  8. Put the banana bread in the oven and bake for 50 minutes.
