If you are watching your weight but love bagels, head over to Costco and get yourself some Thomas Bagel Thins. Unlike the usual bagels that have lots of calories and no nutritional value, Thomas Bagel Thins have only 110 calories and 1 gram of fat, and still taste delicious!

In addition to being low in calories and fat, Thomas Bagel Thins are a great source of fiber and protein – they have 4 grams of fiber in each bagel and 4 grams of protein! These healthy bagels have no artificial sweeteners, no saturated fat, no trans fats and no cholesterol.

Here’s the nutritional information for Thomas Bagel Thins: serving size – 1 bagel, 110 calories, 1 g fat, zero saturated fat, zero trans fat, zero cholesterol, 210 mg sodium, 25 g total carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 3 g sugar, 4 g protein, 4% calcium, 8% iron, 10% thiamin, 6% riboflavin, 6% niacin, 10% folic acid.

Each Costco package of Thomas Bagel Thins has 24 bagels.  In the big package, there are 3 smaller sealed packages of 8 bagels in each.  I love having smaller sealed packages – this way the bagels stay fresh longer!

Thomas Bagel Thins taste like a classic bagel – not like some lame diet food :)  The only difference is that the Bagel Thins are thinner than the usual bagel.  These bagels are pre-sliced, which is so convenient.  Here are toasting tips from the Costco package: “For a crispy outside with a soft inside, toast Bagel Thins bagels together before separating.  Or for a crispier texture, separate before toasting”.
