Have you ever tried cooking pasta in the same pot as the sauce and its other ingredients?  Once you try it, you’ll never make pasta any other way!  This mouthwatering sausage pasta is ready in 20 minutes from start to finish, and you’ll have only one pot to clean – genius!

This mouthwatering pasta is flavored with Italian sausage, sliced onion, garlic, tomato sauce and oregano – yum!  For a final touch, the Parmesan cheese is stirred in just before serving – OMG!  When the pasta is cooked together with all other ingredients, it allows the flavors to marry and seep deeply into the pasta – you will taste this complex delicious flavor in every bite.  If the pasta is cooked separately and the sauce is added later, what you get is the plain pasta with the sauce on top.  With this amazing one-pot dish, the flavor of sausages, onions, garlic, tomato sauce and oregano is actually cooked into the pasta!

Busy cooks will love the simplicity of this awesome recipe.  20 minutes from start to finish and just one pot to clean – let this be our little secret ;)  Unlike the traditional way of making pasta, there is no need to multi-task by boiling a separate pot of water for the pasta and cooking the sauce in a separate pot or pan.  There is no need to wash multiple pots, pans and dishes.  And best of all, there is no need to wrestle with the pot of boiling water to drain the pasta – the water in the sauce will reduce to just the right amount, while cooking pasta at the same time, so there is nothing to drain!

Here are all the ingredients for this super-easy pasta dish: spaghetti, sausage, onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes and Parmesan cheese.  Not pictured – water, salt and pepper :)
