Simple mild mango salsa recipe is the easiest salsa recipe you will ever find. It only has 2 ingredients – mango and onion! Despite only having two ingredients, mango salsa tastes great and will enhance any meal you serve it with. Mango salsa is so refreshing, and my favorite food to serve with mango salsa is fish.
My regular mild mango salsa recipe has the addition of parsley or cilantro. This simple mild mango salsa recipe was created when I had mangoes and onions, but no green herbs! I really wanted some mango salsa, but didn’t feel like going to the store for a missing ingredient, so I just omitted the parsley and cilantro. I chopped up just the mango and onion, mixed them and I was pleasantly surprised what a great simple mango salsa it turned out to be!

Making mild mango salsa is super easy – just chop the mango in small pieces and finely chop the onion. Mix these 2 chopped ingredients and your mild mango salsa is ready!

- 1 mango
- 1/2 onion
- Peel the mango and chop into small pieces.
- Chop the onion into very small pieces.
- Mix mango and onion in a bowl.
